Our Impact

  • Impact

Manawa Rahi backs young people from remote and underserved communities to access education, pastoral care, and stable pathways. Support goes directly to those facing the biggest barriers, not the easiest wins.

  • Pathways

By helping rangatahi stay engaged in schooling and transition successfully into secondary and beyond, Manawa Rahi shifts long-term outcomes around employment, wellbeing, and community leadership.

  • Hapori Led

The kaupapa works alongside whānau, schools, and communities. Solutions are shaped with the people they serve, which makes them more culturally grounded and more effective.

  • Resources

Support covers school fees, pathway support, mentoring, pastoral care, and connection to services. It recognises that barriers to education are social, cultural, and economic, not just about school fees.

  • Long Term

The model is built on long-term relationships with rangatahi, whānau, and schools. It reflects the reality that sustainable change happens through trust, consistency, and manaakitanga, not one-off interventions. It is transformational, not transactional.

  • Leadership

Rangatahi are supported go on to contribute positively to their communities. Supporting Manawa Rahi is an investment in the next generation of leaders, role models, and changemakers.
